Key Responsibilities
Craft authentic and traditional Sri Lankan dishes, maintaining high standards of flavor and presentation.
Plan and execute outdoor catering events, including menu development, logistics, and on-site management.
Leverage your experience with Indian weddings and events to offer tailored menus and services that meet the cultural and culinary expectations of these gatherings.
Develop innovative menus that showcase the best of Sri Lankan cuisine, suited for both small and large-scale events.
Ensure all food preparations meet health and safety standards, with a commitment to quality at every event.
Lead and train kitchen staff, promoting a culture of learning and respect for Sri Lankan culinary traditions.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely procurement of highquality ingredients.
Skills Required
At least 5 years of culinary experience, with a strong background in Sri Lankan cuisine, ideally gained through work in esteemed kitchens in India or internationally.
Professional culinary training or equivalent hands-on experience in Sri Lankan cooking.
Experience leading a team in a fastpaced kitchen environment.
A creative approach to food that matches our passion for culinary excellence.
Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal communication skills to interact with staff and guests.
Must meet all legal requirements to work in the UK.
Pay
£35,000-£40,000 per annum
