Shift Manager
Key Responsibilities
The Shift Manager is responsible for supervising the staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment during their shift. They act as the point of contact for staff and customers, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that may arise. The Shift Manager is also responsible for supporting the restaurant’s goals in terms of customer satisfaction, revenue, and employee performance. Key responsibilities include:
Supervise and manage restaurant staff during your shift.
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns promptly.
Oversee daily operations, including opening/closing duties and maintaining cleanliness standards.
Handle cash, balance tills, and monitor sales and inventory.
Assist with staff training and development.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with the management team to address any operational issues.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Pay
£25,000-£28,000 per annum
